How it works

  1. Day 1

    You apply

A two-minute form: your company, headcount and the tools you use.

  2. That week

    We talk for 15 minutes

What you have, how far back it goes, whether you can license it. You get a straight answer.

  3. Weeks 1–4

We scope it and introduce you

What goes in, what stays out, and a personal introduction to the buyer that fits.

  4. 60–90 days later

    You get paid

We stay with you on price, terms and the buyer’s questions until the money lands.

The buyer’s team does the export under the license. We never touch your systems.

What qualifies

Buyers want the everyday work your team has already done: years of planning, building, shipping and fixing things.

You’re a good fit if

People
30 or more, now or at your peak. 30 to 200 is the sweet spot for most buyers.
History
Three or more years in your tools. Depth matters more than size.
Language
Mostly English. Buyers check each source, and many need about 90%.
Rights
Yours to license. Client project data often counts too; we check your contracts with you.
Your team
Told about it. Reputable buyers ask for that, and we help you explain it.

What we do

Four things we do with you, from the first description of your data to the signed contract.

  1. Your story

We describe your data the way buyers read it: what’s in it, what’s unusual about it, and why it’s worth more than a first offer.

  2. Your scope

We decide with you what goes in and what stays out. The buyer’s team does the export under the license.

  3. Your price

We know what similar datasets go for, and we help you choose between exclusive or not, one-time or recurring.

  4. Your contract

We go through it with you: rights source by source, privacy and tool terms, exclusivity and liability.

Why it’s free for you

When your deal closes, the buyer pays us a finder’s fee. You pay nothing, before or after.

Who signs off

A license touches the founder, operations, engineering and counsel. Each part has its own link, so you can forward it on its own.

Founder / CEO

Whether there is a deal worth making, and on which terms.

Is there real money in our data?
You get a straight answer after the 15-minute check. If there is no deal worth doing, we tell you.
Can client projects go in?
Often, yes, when your contracts allow it. Buyers de-identify what they receive, and we check each source with you first.
How much of my time does it take?
A 15-minute call, then two decisions: what goes in, and which terms you accept.
Operations

Who joins which call, and who works with the buyer’s team.

What does my team actually do?
Answer questions about your tools on one call. We never ask for access. After you sign, the buyer’s delivery team arranges access and the export with you.
Will it slow down delivery?
Hardly. Before signing it is a few calls. After, the buyer’s team does the extraction, on a schedule written into the license.
How long does it run?
A few weeks to a signed license. The buyer then reviews the delivered data and pays, often within 60 to 90 days.
Engineering

What the buyer may access, and on what terms.

Do you need access to our systems?
No. We never touch your systems or your data. We advise on calls; the buyer’s team arranges access under the license you sign.
What happens to personal data?
The license sets what must be removed or masked before delivery, who does it and how it is checked. We make sure that is written in before you sign.
What does the buyer receive?
Exactly what the license’s data schedule lists: sources, volumes and formats. We help you write it.

  2. ScopeThe sources you approve, in writing

  2. Export and cleaningDone by the buyer’s team, as the license requires

Legal counsel

Whether the company may license this data, and on which terms.

Who owns what?
We map rights source by source: your own operational data, and the client work your contracts let you license.
Which terms matter most?
Six decide most of the value: the liability cap and indemnities, the consents you warrant, exclusivity, acceptance and the review window, partial rejection, and when you get paid.
What do we sign with you?
A mutual NDA before you share any detail.

How we handle your data

What we never do

  • Push you to license anything you’re not comfortable with.
  • Touch your systems or take custody of your data. You license directly to the buyer.
  • Push you into exclusivity you don’t want.

What happens to your data

You sign an NDA and a license directly with the buyer. Reputable buyers de-identify personal information before any use, and the license sets what they can do with it and for how long. We read those terms with you before you sign.

Questions

All questions

How much is my data worth?

It depends on size, history, tools and language. After the 15-minute check we give you an honest range, or tell you it isn’t worth doing.

Who are the buyers?

We work with the leading AI data vendors and frontier data labs. We match you with the ones that fit your data, and you sign with them directly.

Is my data anonymized?

Reputable buyers de-identify personal information before any use. We make sure your license says so, and how long the buyer can keep raw data.

Can I license to more than one buyer?

Sometimes. Non-exclusive licenses let you license the same data more than once; some buyers pay more for exclusivity, and then we help you keep it narrow: limited in time and to the data actually delivered.

How are you different from a data marketplace?

A marketplace lists your data and waits. We check it with you, help you scope it, take it to the buyers that fit, and stay with you through the contract until you’re paid.

Do you work with companies outside the US?

Yes, across the US and Europe. Some buyers require a US entity, and we’ll tell you on the first call whether that applies to you.
